“I help the good brave girls lead“
A more equal world for women
Susan Veldkamp is an energetic and passionate woman on a mission: a more equal world for women.
For every hesitant woman, there are ten less-qualified men eager to take a seat as a talk show guest.
Our male counterparts earn the equivalent of 1.5 months more per year for the same work.
“I’m not the right person for the job because I don’t have all the expertise.”
As a woman, you don’t need to judge yourself if you recognize these thoughts. It can all be explained from a historical perspective.
The world is crying out for female leadership
As a woman, you didn’t cause the inequality yourself. However, Susan’s approach is that taking control yourself is the fastest way to feel equal as a woman and to be seen and treated as such.
Every woman who naturally claims her space becomes a role model for her colleagues, her company, and for her daughters and sons.
Every woman who takes her place in her own authentic way is the female leader the world is crying out for.
Visibility (Positioning, Profiling)
Be good and tell it: Being good at your work isn’t enough to grow. You also need to talk about it. You deserve to make yourself visible.
It’s exactly this invisibility of women that has been one of the two main reasons for the underrepresentation of women in the (sub)top levels of business for years (source: It Takes Two To Tango research report).
Why? Because many women prefer not to draw attention to themselves.
Susan ensures that, in no time, women start questioning why they haven’t positioned themselves and their great work sooner.
Be that female leader.
At work. At home. Everywhere.
Female Leadership
For centuries, we’ve been taught to value masculine traits more highly: gender bias. With Susan’s thirteen years of experience in sales, she knows better than anyone what it’s like to work mainly with men and how, for a long time, she loved being one of the guys.
Until she realized that it was her masculine side that wasn’t setting her apart. From the moment she began to value and intentionally use her feminine side, she quickly became the top saleswoman she wanted to be.
Susan helps women discover and tap into their limitless potential, starting with the belief that it’s already there.
